My dad and I left the house yesterday right as the tornado was coming near us. My sister was on lockdown at the high school and my mom was at work in the city. We drove down 4th street and turned right onto Sunnylane and watched as the tornado followed and passed us. We turned around and headed exactly the way we came. The road we had been on just moments early was completely wiped out. It was such a gut wrenching scene. It took us about two hours to get a hold of my mom and sister and to make it home. I am so lucky that my family and home are okay. We have no electricity, and phone service is spotty, but we are alive and we are okay. Not everyone was that lucky. Please keep sending good thoughts and prayers, they are greatly needed. If you can help in any way, please do. There are a lot of people in need out here and anything will help.
I have lived in Oklahoma almost my entire life, and I will NEVER be okay with tornado weather. I am really excited that next spring I will not have to deal with this shit because it is creepy and stressful.
Video of my storm chasing experience yesterday, May 19th.
Oklahoma is scary sometimes.
I’m really bad at watching movies that everyone has seen. I’ve never seen Forrest Gump, Star Wars, Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future, and a ton of other movies that I can’t even think of. I have however watched P.S. I Love You at least a dozen times. Joseph and I took the next step in our relationship the other day, and he gave me his netflix password, so I watched Good Will Hunting for the first time today, and it was really good.
I have some major movie catching up to do. Any recommendations? And don’t say Star Wars. I pretty much refuse to watch it.

Today has been the best day off ever. I stayed in bed watching shows on my laptop until 2 this afternoon, and then I went to Kait’s house and hung out with my two favorite ladies, and now I’m back in bed watching Real Housewives of Orange County while my sister is going to Sonic to get me a milkshake.
